OHIO VALLEY FRIENDSHIP QUILT - 1920-1940, cotton. Approximately 400 names stitched in 20 star patterns, in multi-colored thread, and with pink and pale green grid. 88” by 66”. Research into a sampling of the names shows locations all over Ohio and West Virginia, mostly along the Ohio River between Wheeling and Cincinnati, with a concentration in Huntington.
