OHIO SEWER TILE PIG - Ohio, c. 1900, earthenware. A sewer tile pig in seated position with a coin slot on upper neck, open base. Special attention paid to eyelashes, nostrils, cloven hooves, and curly tail. 10.25” high, 10” high, 7.5” deep. Provenance: an Ohio collection. PLEASE NOTE OUR SHIPPING PROCESS. Our affordable in-house shipping: shippable items will be packed and shipped in-house, and larger items will be sent via freight; we will bill you separately for the cost of packing and shipping. Condition: Chip on top of nose, white paint streak on right eye. Oddly, the bottom 1/2” is unglazed, as is an area on its breast that looks as if something was carved or scraped away.
