White Wyandotte is a breed of chicken that was developed in the late 19th century for both its meat and its egg laying. The Mindling family came to Washington County in the early 19th century from Germany. The Nicholaus Mindling Log House is part of the Oliver Tucker Museum, Beverly, Ohio.
