WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR - Alexander Vance Boughner, Greensboro, Pennsylvania, c. 1860. Marked on the back side, with fanciful freehand decoration including a large ”3”, and with lug handles. 14” high. As the mark is lacking the ”A&W”, it was likely made shortly after Alexander Vance Boughner took sole ownership of the pottery and removed the ”A&W” from the stamp.
