PAIR OF CARVED EAGLES - Late 19th century, pine. Pair of spread-winged architectural eagles, with old paint. 30” wingspan. Provenance: an Ohio collection. PLEASE NOTE OUR SHIPPING PROCESS. There are four ways to get your purchases from our gallery to you: 1. You pick things up yourself (by appointment); 2. You engage a third-party company to pick things up on your behalf (by appointment); 3. Live Auctioneer's Live Shipping (LA makes the arrangements and adds the cost to your LA invoice); 4. Our affordable in-house shipping: shippable items will be packed and shipped in-house, and larger items will be sent via freight; we will bill you separately for the cost of packing and shipping. Condition: Both have slots on the back indicating they came off of a large piece of furniture or some architectural element; the second generation hangers have gold paint on them indicating they were installed before the second paint, which was probably done in the first half of the 20th century; there are some stabilized cracks, and a few minor spots of paint touchup.
