JACQUARD COVERLET - American, mid-19th century. A jacquard coverlet in red and white, fringed on three sides. Centerfield design of double rose boxes filled with leaves and a starry medallion, offset with viny clusters. Border with leaves and grapes. Bottom fringe contains light blue. 83” long, 80” wide w/o fringe. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
