JACQUARD COVERLET - American, mid-19th century, wool and linen. A blue and white checkerboard jacquard coverlet with central medallion featuring tulips and oak leaves, and a thick border of flowers with heart buds. Fringed on three sides, tied at bottom. 83” long, 71” wide w/o fringe. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio; Ex Joe Joyce Irvin collection; Ex Estate of Hazel Dietz, Marshallville, Ohio, 1971.
