JACQUARD COVERLET - American, mid-19th century. A jacquard coverlet in indigo and white. Centerfield with four large square medallions of oak leaves and dill-like fronds, offset with vines and plumes. Plume and flower border, with neoclassical style corner block. Fringed on three sides with top binding. Center seam. 90” long, 75” wide w/o fringe. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
