JACQUARD COVERLET - American, mid-19th century. A jacquard coverlet in blue, red, and white. Centerfield with Lilies of France around a 16-point rosette, offset with sunburst. Border with flowers and winglike half- and quarter-medallions continuing into corner block. Fringed on three sides, center seam. 86” long, 73” wide, w/o fringe. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
