JACQUARD COVERLET - American, mid-19th century. A jacquard coverlet in purple, blue, pink, and white. Centerfield featuring medallions with a blossom inside a floral leaf, offset by clusters of small blossoms and dill-like leaves. Grapevine border (doubled on sides). No corner block. Fringed on three sides, with well-concealed center seam. 80” long, 74” wide w/o fringe. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
