MODIFIED NINE-PATCH QUILT - American, 19th century, cotton. A modified nine-patch quilt composed of printed brown, blue, pink, and white fabrics in alternating pieced and solid blocks. Hand-stitched and quilted. 84” long, 63” wide. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
