TWO QUILTS - American, cotton. Two quilts: the first, a quilt made from broad strips of floral whole cloth and solid brown and black cotton, rust-colored binding, narrow-striped backing, 81” long, 77” wide; together with an Amish plain quilt: a pink quilt with a large blue rectangle, handstitched quilting in flower and vine designs, design reversed on other side. 49” long, 39” wide. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
