IRISH CHAIN QUILT - American, c. 1895-1900, cotton. A pieced quilt in the ”Irish Chain” pattern, composed of solid red and green fabrics on a solid white ground. Hand-pieced and quilted. 82” long, 68” wide. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
