NINE PATCH QUILT WITH GRAPEVINE BORDER - American, 19th century, cotton. A pieced quilt in a small nine patch pattern, composed of primarily blue and secondary brown, pink and yellow printed fabrics on solid white ground. With appliqued puffy grapevine border on two sides, and hanging sleeve on back. Hand-stitched and quilted. 78” square. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
