JACKSON CO., OHIO JACQUARD COVERLET W/ UNIQUE TOWN BORDER - Jackson Co., Ohio, c. 1850. Half of a jacquard coverlet in indigo and white. Centerfield with ”Birds Feeding their Young” pattern. Side border with a very detailed town landscape. Bottom border with grapevines. Corner block signed ”D. Kell Ohio.” Fringed on two sides (total of 3 with missing half). 87” long, 42” wide w/o fringe. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
