A pieced and applique quilt with a butterfly design composed of purple, blue, green, yellow, pink, and orange print fabrics on a solid white ground. McCall's pattern #191, 1934-38. Hand-stitched and quilted, with embroidery embellishments. 100” long, 80” wide. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
