JACQUARD COVERLET - Probably Ohio, mid-19th century. A jacquard coverlet in green, red, indigo, and white. Centerfield has sunburst within leaf wreath, offset by foliate crosses (all known labeled coverlets in this pattern are from Ohio). 8-point star borders. Fringed on three sides, with center seam. 83” long, 69” wide, w/o fringe. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
