JACQUARD COVERLET ATTRIB. OHIO - Probably Ohio, mid-19th century. A jacquard coverlet in pink, purple, indigo, and white. Centerfield has stars in blossoms, surrounded by floral wreaths and offset by tulip medallions. Double borders have curling stems and flowers. Double corner blocks have a crossed fan trademark (also seen on other Ohio attributed coverlets). Fringed on three sides, without center seam. 74” long, 75” wide w/o fringe. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
