JACQUARD COVERLET - American, mid-19th century. A jacquard coverlet in indigo and white. Centerfield consists of double roses in a fern wreath, offset by sunbursts and foliate filler. Borders contain potted roses. Corner blocks contain sunburst trademark. Fringed on three sides, with center seam. 88” long, 70” wide w/o fringe. Provenance: The Collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
