REVOLVING BOOKCASE - Probably Midwestern, late 19th century, mixed woods. Square, rotating bookcase with scroll-cut decoration, on a pedestal stand, and retaining its original red paint. 32” high, 21” square. This bookcase appears to be a rural vernacular version of the popular revolving bookcases patented by John Danner of Canton, Ohio in 1874. Provenance: an Ohio collection.
