SOAP HOLLOW CHEST OF DRAWERS - Possibly Jeremiah Stahl (1830-1907), Somerset County, Pennsylvania, 1874, pine and poplar. Tall chest with three over four drawers and turned legs. Retains much of its original paint, including red and black ground and some faint stenciling, including ”FH 1874.” 51.25” high, 40.5” wide, 20.5” wide. Provenance: a Pennsylvania collection.
