BIRDSEYE MAPLE TRAVEL MIRROR - American, 1820-1850, birdseye maple veneer and pine. Diminutive box with hinged lid that opens to a folding mirror, over a drawer; the lid and drawer each with bone pulls. Inscribed on the underside of the drawer, ”Gustav Adolph Johnson April 1867.” 2.25” high, 3.5” wide, 4.75” deep (closed). Provenance: a West Virginia collection.
