INLAID AND DECORATED JEWELRY BOX - American, late 19th century, mahogany. Dovetailed box, with the top and four sides elaborately inlaid. On the front is the inlaid with the logo for the Brotherhood of the Railroad Trainmen (a union for railroad workers founded in 1883). Retains its original hardware and finish. 6” high, 11.5” wide, 6.5” deep. Provenance: an Ohio collection.
