The Earth/Moon and the Sun/Venus mounted on a geared arm so that the rotation of planets and moons can be demonstrated by turning arm. 20” wide (from base edge to the tip of the arm). Includes its original wooden shipping/carrying case. Frank Trippensee developed this more complex model of planetary movement and received a US patent in 1908. Provenance: an Ohio collection.
