LANDSCAPE-DECORATED BLANKET CHEST - Probably New England, early 19th century, poplar. Dovetailed box retaining its original polychrome paint decoration, including a landscape with trees on the front, reminiscent of the murals of Rufus Porter. 17.75” high, 37.75” wide, 17.75” deep.
