ZOAR, OHIO CHILD'S BED - Late 19th century, walnut and ash. Turned posts and spindles. 28” high, 25” wide, 42” long. On the inside of one rail is an illegibly written name, which could be Ruolf, an early Zoar name. Illustrated in Snyder, Snyder, and Goudy, Zoar Furniture: A Preliminary Study, p. 39. Provenance: Keeping House Bed and Breakfast, Zoar, Ohio; purchased at Garth's Auctions (Ohio), November 2008.
