MASSACHUSETTS CARVED EAGLE - Gene Conley (1929-2021), Wilbraham, Massachusetts. Tall folksy eagle with spread wings and a deer antler beak. 35.5” high. After a long career as a union carpenter, Conley spent his retirement carving, and had items exhibited in galleries in Woodstock, Vermont and New York City. Provenance: an Ohio collection.
