VIEW OF THE HERMITAGE, ZOAR, OHIO - Beulah Morgan (act. early 20th century), watercolor on paper, dated 1908. Summer view of the historic cabin that is lush with greenery. Matted and in a 19th-century frame, 9.5” high, 13.5” wide (sight), 19” high, 23” wide (overall). Morgan was a teacher in Dover, and active in an art school in the early 20th century. Provenance; descended in the Bimeler family of Zoar, Ohio, through Meta Eberly, daughter of Caroline Kuemmerle Bimeler and Levi Bimeler.
