Folksy fruit still life that includes a glass compote with a ringed stem, typical of American blown and pressed compotes of the middle and late 19th century. In a period frame, 18” high, 24” wide; in a period frame, 22” high, 28.25” wide (overall). Provenance: an Ohio collection.
