Include a pair of miniature portraits that appear to be reverse painted on glass, in period frames, 8.25” high, 7.25” wide (overall); together with a small mahogany mirror, 6.5” by 5.5”; a handwritten and decorated hymn ”Solemn Reflection, The Summer is Past” (originally, ”The Fall of the Leaf” by George Horne, published in a 1758 issue of Payne’s Universal Chronicle or Weekly Gazette, with watercolor flowers and in a birdseye frame, 10” high, 11.75” wide (overall). And and a small Chippendale-style mirror, 21.5” by 11.5”. Provenance: Collection of Bob and Maxine Edwards, New Philadelphia, Ohio.
