TWO COVERLET HALVES ATTRIBUTED TO ZOAR, OHIO - Mid-19th century. One is red and natural, and the other is blue, black, red, and natural. Both have the same distinctive building and eagle and ”Liberty” corner block. 81” by 37” and 81” by 34”. Clarita Anderson notes that Zoar coverlets sometimes include Zoar-style buildings in the border. Provenance: the collection of the late Dr. Virginia Gunn, Wooster, Ohio.
