PAIR OF MEMORIAL PAPER CUTTINGS - Made for Capt. Stephen and Abigail White, who both died in 1840. Appear to be in their original frames. 11” high, 13.75” wide (overall). Stephen White (1766-1840) and Abigail Hudson (1772-1840) were married in 1792 and lived in Petersham, Worcester County, Massachusets. Stephen served as a captain in ”Captain White's Company” of ”Independent Cadets” of the Massachusetts Militia in the War of 1812. Provenance: an Ohio collection.
