PAINT-DECORATED CHEST OF DRAWERS - Probably Pennsylvania, 2nd quarter-19th century, poplar. Bowed top drawer over three graduated drawers, flanked by scrolled ends and on shaped feet. Retains its original paint decoration mimicking bookmatched mahogany veneer. 48.75” high, 42.25” wide, 22.5” deep. Provenance: a southwest Ohio collection.
