Miniature portrait Thomas Van 2nd half of the 18th cent, unsigned, gouache on panel, extensively inscribed in English on the reverse: ”Thomas Van was only son/heir of Charles Van of Llanwern, who married Katherine da(ughter) of Thomas Morgan [...] Robert Salusbury Esq. of Cotton Hall in Denbig, created a Baronetin 1795.”, shoulder piece of a boy in front of a monochrome background, framed in wood behind glass, traces of age, dimensions 7 x 7 cm.
