Jh., auf der Plinthe signiert, hell patiniert, undeutlicher Gießerstempel MS in Ligatur im Oval (Gießerei Max Sperlich?), Aktdarstellung eines mit Schwert und Schild bewaffneten Mannes, mit Helm auf kleiner runder Plinthe stehend, auf mehrteiligem Sockel aus Marmor montiert, dieser mit gerundeten Kanten, Oberfläche mit stärkeren Altersspuren, H Bronze 21,5 cm, H gesamt 28 cm. Künstlerinfo: dt. Bildhauer (1862 Berlin bis 1935 ebenda), war mit Portraitbüsten und Genrefiguren oft auf Berliner Ausstellungen vertreten (mehrere Akademieausstellungen, internationale Ausstellung 1891 und große Kunstausstellung 1893), beteiligte sich 1886 ohne Erfolg an der Konkurrenz um das Berliner Lessingdenkmal. Artist information: German sculptor (1862 Berlin - 1935 ibid.), was often represented at Berlin exhibitions with portrait busts and genre figures (several academy exhibitions, international exhibition 1891 and large art exhibition 1893), participated unsuccessfully in the competition for the Berlin Lessing monument in 1886.
