Künstlerinfo: deutscher Bildhauer (1876 Berlin bis 1941), ab 1897 Studium an der Kunstakademie Dresden unter Johannes Schilling, arbeitete auch in dessen Atelier mit, 1899 Gewinn des Großen Sächsischen Staatspreises, bereiste Paris und Rom, danach wieder in Dresden in Schillings Atelier, arbeitete kurzzeitig für die Meissener Porzellanmanufaktur, ab 1914 ansässig in Bad Homburg und an der dortigen Kunstakademie tätig, ab 1904 ansässig in Berlin, dort ebenfalls an der Kunstakademie Professor, zusätzlich freischaffend im eigenen Atelier und als Entwerfer für die KPM.
