Binz, Metallguss verkupfert, patiniert und zaponiert, halbplastisch reliefierte, liebevolle Szene zwischen einer Mutter mit Blumenstrauß, kniend, um ihrem Kleinkind einen Kuss zu geben, hochrechteckige Platte mit rückseitigen Gewinden zur Montage bzw. Aufhängeöse, Zaponierung wohl später, altersgemäß gut erhalten, Maße ca. 23 x 16,5 x 2 cm. Künstlerinfo: deutscher Bildhauer und Bauplastiker (1850 Mahlberg/Ortenaukreis bis 1920 Karlsruhe) ab 1868 an der Münchner Kunstakademie Studium der Bildhauerei, ab 1874 in Karlsruhe ansässig, er arbeitete vorwiegend als Bauplastiker und Entwerfer und Hersteller für Grabmalskunst, ab 1900 wurden seine Entwürfe auch für Galvano-Grabmalfiguren der Firma WMF verwendet. Binz lower right, copper-plated cast metal, patinated and zaponised, a loving scene in semi-plastic relief between a mother with a bouquet of flowers, kneeling to give her infant a kiss, rectangular plate with threads on the back for mounting or hanging loop, zaponisation probably later, in good condition for its age, dimensions approx. 23 x 16.5 x 2 cm. Artist information: German sculptor and architectural sculptor (1850 Mahlberg/Ortenaukreis to 1920 Karlsruhe) from 1868 studied sculpture at the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, from 1874 based in Karlsruhe, he worked primarily as an architectural sculptor and designer and manufacturer of gravestone art, from 1900 his designs were also used for galvanised gravestone figures by the WMF company.
