Rococo relief carvingcirca 1760, carved wood, coloured and gilded, titled Socrates, handwritten annotation ”Invaliden Stiftung Kaiser Wilhelm” on adhesive label on the reverse, additional lacquer seal, magnificent cartouche lined with rocailles with the profile of the Greek philosopher Socrates, signs of age, somewhat in need of restoration, h approx. 95 cm.
