Früher Bayreuther Fayencewalzenkrug - Früher Bayreuther Fayencewalzenkrug . datiert (17)30, Pinselmarke um 1728-1744, heller Fayencescherben mit ungewöhnlicher Craqueléglasur, auch am Boden, bemalt mit kobaltblauer Scharffeuerfarbe, schauseitig Architekturmalerei, umgeben von floralen und ornamentalen Mustern, Zinnmontierung bestehend aus Standring, Lippenrand und godroniertem Deckel mit großer Kugel, Monogramm SH 30, eingesetzt eine Himmelfahrtsmedaille mit Darstellung Himmelfahrt Christi und Spruch in alter Schrift, inhaltlich etwa „Herr lass euch hier was allen nach dir“, am Lippenrand innen unterhalb der Montierung Oberflächenchips, im Boden Altercraquelé, insgesamt guter altersgemäßer Zustand, H 26 cm. Early Bayreuth faience jug . dated (17)30, brush mark c. 1728-1744, light faience body with unusual craquelé glaze, also on the base, painted with cobalt blue hot-fire colour, architectural painting on the front, surrounded by floral and ornamental patterns, pewter mounting consisting of a stand ring, lip rim and gadrooned cover with large sphere, monogram SH 30, inset with an Ascension medal depicting the Ascension of Christ and a motto in old script, the content roughly ”Lord leave you here what all after you”, surface chips to the inside of the lip rim below the mount, age craquelure to the base, in good overall condition for its age, h 26 cm.
