Silver egg cosy . probably Hanau 20th century, silver stamped with imitation marks, tested, gilt interior, decorated as a large egg in Baroque style with rocaille decoration and rose blossoms, on paw feet with volutes and animal head crowning, removable lid with figural cockerel as knob, removable insert for three eggs, in good condition for its age, h 22 cm, g approx. 494 g.
