Madonna and Child probably Northern France, 16th century, carved alabaster, with remnants of original colouring and gilding, the Virgin Mary standing on a flat circular base in a long flowing robe, with diadem and neck decoration, holding the Christ Child in the Hodegetria type on her left arm, minimal loss of substance, signs of age, h 46 cm.
