Small Nodding Pagoda probably Schierholz Plaue, c. 1900, unmarked, indistinctly marked model number (231 or 281) and brush number 2, naturalistic moulding with polychrome overglaze painting and gold staffage, pot-bellied Chinese figure sitting cross-legged, head, tongue and hands movably mounted, gilding partially rubbed and one hand stiffened, otherwise in good condition for its age, h 11 cm.
