Volkstedt Prunkleuchter mit Amorette - Volkstedt Prunkleuchter mit Amorette Porzellanfigur der Aeltesten Volkstedter Porzellanmanufaktur mit unterglasurblauer Spiegelmarke 1915-1934, Montur undeutlich gepunzt (B.G.?) 99, mehrteiliges Arrangement im Stil der Pariser ”Marchand-Mercier” des 18. Jh., bestehend aus trommelnder Amorette auf Terrainsockel mit Ornamentkante, naturalistische Ausformung mit polychromer Aufglasurbemalung und Goldstaffage, montiert in nischenförmiger Spalierlaube mit flachem Rocaillesockel aus vergoldetem Metall, die umwindenden Ranken mit fein geäderten Blättern aus Blech und großen, farbig staffierten Porzellanblüten, im Laubeninneren kleine Gewindefassung (wohl für ursprüngliche Beleuchtung, bekrönende Kerzentülle nachträglich elektrifiziert, seltene Tischlampe, ein Trommelstick bestoßen, sonst guter altersgemäßer und funktionstüchtiger Zustand, H gesamt 30 cm. Volkstedt ceremonial chandelier with cupid Porcelain figure of the oldest Volkstedt porcelain manufactory with underglaze blue mirror mark 1915-1934, mount indistinctly hallmarked (B.G.?) 99, multi-part arrangement in the style of the 18th century Parisian ”Marchand-Mercier”, consisting of a drumming cupid on a terrain base with ornamental edge, naturalistic moulding with polychrome overglaze painting and gold staffage, mounted in a niche-shaped trellis arbour with flat rocaille base of gilded metal, the entwining tendrils with finely veined sheet metal leaves and large coloured porcelain flowers, the surrounding tendrils with finely veined tin leaves and large, colourfully painted porcelain blossoms, small threaded socket inside the arbour (probably for original lighting, crowning candle spout subsequently electrified, rare table lamp, one drumstick chipped, otherwise in good, age-appropriate and functional condition, h 30 cm overall.
