Nep.”, zentral eingelassene Zungendarstellung, flankiert von floralem Rankwerk aus Goldlitze, besetzt mit Strasssteinen und Perlchen, Andachtsobjekt zu Ehren des Heiligen Johannes von Nepomuk, welches als Schutz gegen üble Nachrede fungieren soll, Altersspuren, Maße 24 x 18 cm. Reliquary image 20th century, monastic work in a cardboard case, inscribed ‘Touched by the tongue of St John of Nepomuk’, a depiction of the tongue set in the centre, flanked by floral tendrils in gold braid, set with rhinestones and small pearls; a devotional object in honour of St John of Nepomuk, intended to offer protection against slander; shows signs of age; dimensions 24 x 18 cm.
