Pair of Baroque carvings Southern German, 18th century, carved from lime wood, primed with chalk, painted and richly gilded; a pair of fully three-dimensional figures set on flat, suitably curved, marble-effect plinths; half-nude figures crafted as pendants, draped in voluminous, flowing cloths, facing one another and displaying expressive body language; in good condition for their age; H 70 and 71 cm.
