Carved Madonna probably 17th century, solid hardwood, carved, primed with chalk, partially stuccoed and painted in multiple colours or richly gilded, a sculptural depiction of Mary as a seated figure, as Queen of Heaven with a crown, with the infant Christ positioned to her left; original paintwork overpainted; significant signs of age; conservation issues; height approx. 67 cm.
