Jh., Ausführung nach dem 1808 von Sir William Congreve entworfenen Modell, Messing vergoldet, in typischer Funktionsweise mit einer auf einer Zick-Zack-Bahn laufender Kugel, welche über ein Hebelsystem den Taktwechsel auslöst (Originalkugel vorhanden), Antrieb über Federwerk und Schnecke, rückseitig bezeichnet „Jonal Clocks Ltd./England/Serial No. 029“, funktionstüchtig, im originalen Glassturz, Gangdauer ca. 8 Tage, sehr guter Zustand, Maße 34 x 25 x 27 cm. Ball-circulation clock based on William Congreve’s design 2nd Mid-20th century, based on the model designed by Sir William Congreve in 1808, gold-plated brass, operating in the typical manner with a ball running along a zigzag track, which triggers the change of time via a lever system (original ball present), driven by a spring mechanism and worm gear, marked on the reverse as ‘Jonal Clocks Ltd./England/Serial No. 029’, in working order, in its original glass case, running time approx. 8 days, very good condition, dimensions 34 x 25 x 27 cm.
