Tur. The Tur belonging to Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Bender זיע"א with an old and important note, possibly in his own handwriting!  - Mezhibuz תקפ"ב | 1822.
A copy of one of the greatest Chassidic seforim of previous generations!
Tur Choshen Mishpat  Part 2 with Ba"ch and Derisha U'Prisha.
Very old noting in the flyleaf  ..making it clear that this sefer actually belonged to "Kevod Kedushas...Harav Aryeh Leib of Bender"  (see Hebrew catalog for the wording).

Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Bender (1771-1853), Uncle of Rabbi Israel of Ruzhin, son-in-law of the son-in-law of the Ma'or Einayim of Tchernobel, and brother of Rabbi Moshe of Sarwan.
Born in 1771 to his father, Rabbi Shimon Shlomo Guterman, the Magid of Sawran, a student of the Maggid of Mezritsch.
He married the daughter of Rabbi Abraham of Kuristashov, who was the son-in-law of the Ma'or Einayim of Tchernobel. His father-in-law also took Rabbi Shalom Shachna of Prohovitz  (the father of the Rebbe of Ruzhin) as a son-in-law.
The Zadikim of Beis Ruzhin used to mention his holy name as a Melitz Yosher in the wording “Der Futer, Rabbi Leib’niu. זכותו יגן על זרעו ועלינו ועל כל ישראל” (Knesses Yisrael 72).

On page 132, there is a vry old comment about the importance of complying with the laws of the states at this time! It is very possible that it is in his own handwriting. The Rabbi of Bender was a Rav and Possek and sat at many Dinei Torah. It is told that once the Rav felt that one of the defendants was a swindler, as so the Rav asked him if he was ready to swear by his beard and payos that he is telling the truth? Lo and behold after merely a few hours, this persons' beard and payos fell off!

(See additional versions of the story, and many more on the gadlus of Rabbi Aryeh Leib in the Book of Or HaShemesh (Jerusalem 5768), "Shosheles Hakodesh Sawran Bender" at the end of the book.)
