The second and rare edition in the year of the burning of the Talmud. Rabbeinu Yerucham - Venice, 1553.
Toldot Adam VeChavah - the famed book by Rabbeinu Yerucham - a disciple of the Rosh and one of the leading Rishonim - a basic book of Halachic literature.
Well-known are the wonderous words of the Chida in Shem Hagedolim who said that Rabbeibnu Yerucham's books are Alma DeAtkasya and should not be interpreted and all the commentaries on it were lost and their authors hurt or passed away young. This is based on the words of the Maggid of the Beit Yosef who calls Rabbeinu Yerucham "Yerucham Tmiri" (Maggid Meisharim Parashat Vayakhel and Parashat Tzav). Due to the Chida's words, for many years there were only facsimile editions of this one.
