First edition - Mirkevet Hamishneh - Frankfurt an der Oder, 1750. Bound with the first edition of Chamisha Shitot (Ramban, Ran, and Ritva) - Sulzbach, 1762. 


1. Mirkevet Hamishneh.

One of the famed books on the Rambam. 

At the end of the book, Kuntres Berachot Becheshbon and Kuntres Acharon. 

By Rabbi Shlomo of Chelmo. 

The Gaon Rabbi Shlomo of Chelmo (Chelm) (1716-1781) one of the famed Geonim of Poland. In 1779, passed through Turkey on his way to Eretz Yisrael, being delayed there for a long time. In Izmir, kept close contact with its leading rabbis. Shortly after he arrived in Eretz Yisrael, he was forced to leave it and traveled to Salonika with his family. There he began editing the second section of his book Mirkevet Hamishneh, yet perished in a Plague that struck the city. 


2. Sefer Chamisha Shitot

The Ramban's novellae on tractates Gittin and NIdah. Chidushei Haran on tractates Sanhedrin and Chulin and Chidushei HaRitva on tractate Makot. 

Printed for the first time with enthusiastic approbations by the leading Rabbis of Metz. 

The two last leaves are missing - a notation at the end of the book indicating the leaves were destroyed in a fire. 


Ancient semi-leather binding. 

31 cm. 

38, 37-49, 52-128; 18 leaves. 

[1], 113 (i.e. 115) leaves. 

Open tears affecting the text to the edges of the first and last leaves completed with paper (apparently, damaged by the aforementioned fire). 

Some moth. Aging stains. 

Thick leaves. 

The first and last leaves are restored in their edges, affecting the text. Moth 

Most of the copy in very good condition.
